BATW Travels was founded in 2018 by Emily Williams. For many years, Emily planned and hosted trips for family and friends in her spare time. As she coordinated their vacations, she began to notice a lack of minority-owned travel agencies that catered to travelers of color. Her desire to fill that void led her to start her own company. Since then, BATW Travels has successfully curated countless trips to various countries, including South Africa, Greece, Kenya, and Ghana.
